BAFTA has announced that it will not be giving out any special prizes to individuals at today’s TV awards.
This comes after Noel Clarke picked up an outstanding contribution award in April, despite the academy being made aware of sexual harassment claims against the star.
More than 20 women came forward to allege Clarke had harassed them – claims he “vehemently denies”. He has since been suspended by BAFTA.

The organisation has said that any award given to an individual by them that has not been voted on by an industry panel is currently on hold.
“We have recently announced that we are conducting a review of the processes governing awards that are in the gift of the academy, so we have temporarily paused the special awards and fellowships and they will not feature in this Sunday’s ceremony,” a BAFTA spokeswoman said.
Sunday’s TV awards will be presented by comedian Richard Ayoade at Television Centre in west London, and feature a performance from Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, who will also present an award.
Stars attending in person include Killing Eve star Jodie Comer, chat show host Graham Norton and I Hate Suzie’s Billie Piper.
Those who can’t be there will appear in hologram form.

The red carpet, which will be a quiet affair this year with no fans or press, will be hosted by Tom Allen and AJ Odudu.
Steve McQueen’s Small Axe anthology is leading this year’s nominations with 15 awards, while The Crown, Gangs Of London and I Hate Suzie are also among the shows getting nods.
Sky has secured more than 20 nominations at the ceremony, including for Alex Crawford’s reports from Idlib in the best news coverage award.
