Foo Fighters have cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
In a message to fans on social media, they said: “We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.”
The band invited their supporters to use the time “to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close”.
Hawkins, 50, had been with the rest of the band in the Colombian capital, Bogota, when he died in a hotel room over the weekend.

They had been due to perform at the Estereo Picnic festival near Bogota on the night of his death.
In a statement on their website on Tuesday the band said: “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins.
“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.
“Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”
Hawkins’ death sparked an outpouring of grief with stars including Liam Gallagher, Travis Barker, Slash and Ozzy Osbourne among those paying tribute.
The band’s fans took to social media to share videos and gig memories following the announcement.

In the days following Hawkins’ death Colombian officials confirmed that the drummer had ten different substances in his system when he died – including marijuana, opioids and antidepressants.
Preliminary results of the urine toxicology test found he had ingested THX (Marijuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids, the Attorney General’s Office said.
The cause of death is still being investigated, Colombian officials said on Twitter.
