UK

The mother of two British-Israeli sisters who were killed last week in a shooting attack in the West Bank has died of her wounds, hospital officials said on Monday.

Maia and Rina Dee, 20 and 15 respectively, were killed when their car was attacked on Friday in a shooting by suspected Palestinian assailants close to an Israeli settlement.

Their mother, Lucy Dee, 45, was in the car with them and had been in a coma in hospital.

Rabbi Leo Dee, the husband and father of the victims who witnessed the attack from a separate vehicle following behind and was unharmed, spoke of his “beautiful angels” on Sunday at the funeral of his daughters.
